Hi. I’m Anita, Founder of House of Admin and a Virtual Assistant specialising in website design, email marketing and social media support. I work with a variety of small businesses in the UK and tend to attract female solopreneurs who appreciate my 1:1 personal touch and positive, flexible approach.
My background is 20 years in School Administration as a Personal Assistant supporting leaders at the centre of School Improvement, and in the areas of HR, Recruitment, Communication and as Office Manager.
I’m now sharing my experience, knowledge and new skills with those who need reliable, trusted expertise to design a website, set up an email list or to show up more consistently on social media platforms, but simply don’t have the time to do this themselves.
I love nothing more than seeing the impact of my work and making a genuine difference to my clients and their business. I take pride in really getting to know my clients, so that the emails, websites, and social content I create are deeply aligned with the person behind the brand and the direction they are heading.
My mission is clear; for every small business to feel seen, heard and valued online. I aim to provide professional support at affordable prices so that every small business feels empowered and able to show up consistently in a way that feels manageable for them - without overwhelm or burnout.
My Story - the short version!
We all have a story, don’t we? I’m no different and my story is definitely what drives my resilience and determination to run my own business.
After experiencing over a decade of infertility, 20 years working tirelessly in education, the pandemic, perimenopause, and then burnout, I finally listened to my body and realised I needed to change what I was doing to enhance this next chapter of my life.
So, I got a dog, registered House of Admin, and left my employed role to create a life that feels enriched. Taking back control has given me a renewed sense of self-purpose, a strong desire to help others avoid burnout and a new zest for life that comes from building a business 100% aligned with my ambition, happiness, and health.
It has been a fantastic journey so far and I have fallen in love with the small business community. I have met many wonderful people, and my clients are ambitious, kind, talented, and genuinely make me smile every day. I feel very lucky!
