AI Usage Statement

At House of Admin, we recognise the significant impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, and we are committed to embracing the potential AI has to enhance our services and improve client experiences. We are also committed to our responsibility and ethical use of AI in our operations, and this statement outlines our approach to AI usage, and our commitment to compliance with current and upcoming regulations.

The EU AI Act establishes a framework for the ethical and safe deployment of AI. Although the EU AI Act is not yet in force in the UK, we are using the act as a guideline for our standards.

By complying with the principles of the EU AI Act, we aim to foster trust and confidence in the ethical use of AI, prioritising the rights, privacy, and safety of our clients.

Our Use of AI

We may use AI tools in various aspects of our services, including but not limited to:

·         improving operational efficiency and to create content.

·         helping to automate routine processes and streamline communications.

·         generating informative content.

However, human oversight remains a fundamental and over-arching aspect of our approach, ensuring that AI complements, rather than replaces, our personal engagement and professional expertise.

Commitment to Compliance

We are aware of the evolving regulatory landscape surrounding AI, including the EU AI Act and similar regulations being developed in the UK. We are committed to:

  1. staying informed about AI regulations as they develop.

  2. implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance with these regulations as they come into effect.

  3. regularly reviewing and updating our AI usage practices to align with regulatory requirements.

Ethical AI Use

We are dedicated to the ethical use of AI technologies and our commitment includes:

  1. ensuring transparency in how we use AI.

  2. protecting user privacy and data security.

  3. avoiding bias and discrimination in AI-driven processes.

  4. continuously monitoring and evaluating the impact of our AI systems.

Human Expertise and AI

While we use AI to enhance our services, we recognise that it does not replace human expertise and skills. Our approach involves:

  1. using AI as a tool to enhance human capabilities, not replace them.

  2. maintaining human oversight in critical decision-making processes.

  3. valuing and nurturing human creativity, empathy, and problem-solving skills alongside AI technologies.

Continuous Improvement

We are committed to continuous improvement and regular evaluation of our AI practices and ensuring ongoing compliance with the EU AI Act, Data Protection Act 2018, GDPR and other applicable regulations. We will do this with:

  1. regular training for our staff on AI technologies and ethical considerations.

  2. staying updated with the latest developments in AI and implementing best practices.

  3. seeking feedback from users and stakeholders on our AI-driven services.

We welcome any questions or concerns about our use of AI. Please contact us by emailing office@houseofadmin.co.uk for more information.
